The Artist.

Nope, this post is not about the Oscar-winning movie (which I have yet to see). Remember this post at the very beginning of the month? Yup, I made TONS of masterpieces (and not so mater pieces, haha). And so did tons of other people. Check out some of my favorites.

THE GOOD

THE [NOT SO] BAD

THE [WTF?!] UGLY
In case you were wondering, yes I did pass on that "masterpiece" and it is, btw, a noose.
Gee, I'm so mad at myself for not figuring that one out.

I'm surprised this was guessable!

Simplicity.

Day late, so let's just keep yesterday simple with one photo.

Dainty. Gold. Heart. All things I like.

Snapshots.

Cherry Blossom Festival forever stamps - pretty.

Free coffee numero dos. Since I am a coupon whore, you bet I'm drinking lots of zero dollar DD iced coffee.

Nancy stole my necklace. Kidding, of course.

If I Were...

...rich and well-off (the complete opposite of my cheap, bargain-loving self) - money not a concern, I would totally purchase any and all of the following right this instant...

All images found via Pinterest (and you bet your bottom dollar, this looks extremely close to my "wish list" board).

Around Town.

Typical streets of Jersey City.

My lasagna roll-ups in progress...

...and the finished product.

Mad for Mad Men.

Delayed post...I was too busy yesterday napping (and napping some more). And the short time I was awake, it was all about Mad Men. I did a refresher course in anticipation of season 5's premiere by watching the last few episodes of season 4 on Netflix. Next thing I knew, it was 6 o'clock and it was time for me to head into the city for a viewing party! However, no dress up for me. I was feeling lazy and it was cold out and not feeling it. What a regret that turned out to be!! Although you can't tell in my photos, some people were totally into it. There were some dapper looking men and fancy looking ladies!

En route to midtown, the Municipal Building of NYC.

The City That I Love.

Home is where the heart is and my heart is always with New York. Born and bred, I will always believe this is the best city in the world.

L: The 9/11 Memorial at night. | R: The Brooklyn Bridge in the distance.
(Pictures were taken last night while I was obviously still at work. I was too tired to post by the time I got home.)

L: Looking north at the Empire State Building | R: Sun still rising over the East River.

And by far my fave pic so far this morning, my Starbucks cup.
Cryyyystaaal. Perrrrciiiil. Yeah, those sound the same.

Hopefully more pictures to come later!

After work, it was time for chicken & waffles at Amy Ruth's - delish!! It's like 6 hours since I've been there and I'm still stuffed. Sadly, no pictures of our deliciousness because we were all too excited and dove right in. However, a little walk afterwards did get me to whip out my camera.

I can honestly say that my entire 30 years in this city, I have never been to Harlem. Until now.
