Butterfly in the Sky.

Oh wait, those are birds. Actually, they're cranes. And they're not in the sky. They are against the wall in the library. An origami crane curtain.

Excuse my nonsense. It's way too hot in my apartment. And I may have had a few cocktails. Therefore my nonsense is justified. Now just look at the pretty colorful cranes and Pinterest them to your DIY Craft Board.

A Non-Picture Post.

Yo, eBay. What are you such an ass? As each month goes by, you make it more and more difficult for me to sell my stuff. Yes, I've become addicted to selling my no-longer-worn clothes on eBay. It's been a habit/routine of mine for years. And even though you take a huge chunk of my measly sales monthly via your endless fees and through your cousin PayPal, I still listed my items through you. Now because some idiots decided to give me a low score because they can't read (or just some inconsiderate buyers refuse to leave me feedback, which we all know is another rant of mine) I am now limited to selling 10 items a month. Or $310.00 (what a crazy arbitrary amount!) worth of items. Whichever comes first. Why do you hate me so? You are SO NOT SELLER FRIENDLY. Buyers get away with such crap. It truly is unfair. I've been using your services since 2004 and now you are forcing me to look elsewhere. Because you suck. I could call you meaner things but I'll keep this G-rated.

So, I turn to my non-existant readers. Any other suggestions on where I can sell my items?

Bang Bang!

Happy Fourth of July! Didn't get to the waterfront early enough but was able to still see the fireworks. Now I know better for next year. (Target, watch out. You're going to be my personal living room next year since you offer AC, have food and a bathroom.) I love how all the buildings are some combo of red, white and blue. It's pretty on the eyes.

If I Were...

...a store, I would be J.Crew. Though I never buy anything full-priced at the store (or for anywhere else for that matter), I've been loving the Factory store as of late. So much, that everything I'm wearing today (minus my shoes and undergarments) is from J.Crew.

Inspiration: from my very own closet (except the skirt is a light gray)

Other J.Crew Loves: currently in stores

Only in New York.

I love that the handmade sign is taped to a folding table. And that folding table is on its its side and tied to a hand truck. Only in New York kids.

Weekend in Review.

Blogging on the weekends is not likely to occur. I take the pictures, but I never find time to post them. It stresses me out trying to find time and I make myself feel guilty for not doing so. Therefore, I've decided to not blog on weekends anymore. Feel free to follow me on Instagram (@heart_of_luv) though!

This weekend was filled with mucho heat and family time. Friday evening was a failed attempt at getting to Christmas Tree Shop, but I did pick me up a fun bathing suit at Target. Part of it on clearance though! (Yay for cheap surprise!) Saturday was "stuff your face" and "listen to gossip" family fun day. And Sunday was beach day. With the family of course.
